A little off topic, but what more has the NPCA done recently with their position on the Pebble Mine?

I don't understand why, when natural gas is replacing coal for electric generation, is it not captured at wells rather than burned. So it takes a bit of equipment, I would think that the valuable commodity captured would more than pay for upgrading.

Has any drilling fluids been detected in the karst system near or at Carlsbad Caverns?

Are the parks involved in efforts to limit oil and gas development and its effects on parks? Is so, how?

Thank you all so much for doing this! With respect to Rocky Mountain National Park, do we have data on the trend over the last 5/10/20 years in regional haze or poor visibility days? I assume, with oil & gas development on the Front Range over the past decade, it’s gotten worse.

Does NPCA or parks monitor the impact of drilling above and below the Underground Source of Drinking Water?
